I called a colleague to discuss an upcoming project, explained the project and the perimeters. And after I hung up the phone, I stepped back and reflected on what I just said. And realized…holy shit, sometimes I do actually know what the fuck I am doing.

So I just told my team I am taking Monday after the Super Bowl off.
I did it for one main reason: so I can have fun on Sunday and sleep in on Monday. But deep down inside I also did it because I work with a lot of Giants fans…and after the LAST time we played each other (and I was living in Boston), I learned quickly to just take the next day off.

But this little thing came to the office today and fell asleep in my lap / on one arm. She’s my little work buddy.
