Friday at 5:23pm and my boss told me to sit tight and WAIT FOR AN EMAIL OR MAYBE NO EMAIL. BUT TO WAIT. Unfortunately she told me to sit tight for 5-10 minutes, but in “boss-time” that’s 30 to 40.

Sunday/Monday is for:
- Forgetting my keys at in-law’s lake house (an hour away)
- Sunburned
- Being locked out of online banking because I drunkenly attempted to pay my CC bill and signed in too many times with the wrong password (but then got out of a LATE FEE. WOOT.)
- Packing and eating a cucumber and a bell pepper for lunch because Boo and I haven’t grocery shopping in 3 weeks

After my two previous posts showing nothing but frustration and greed, I read the following article…about gratitude.
Today I am thankful that I have the means to buy a $300 plane ticket.

Buying a plane ticket yesterday for $300. And then waking to a sale on a different airline to the same place for $118. I MEAN. WHAT THE FUCK.

I’ve been working on the same FUCKING THING SINCE I STARTED AT MY NEW JOB AND IT IS NO WHERE NEAR BEING STARTED NO LESS FUCKING COMPLETED!
Sunday is for:
- Sleeping in
- Lazy morning
- Printing pictures from our wedding (a little late, but it was fun to relive it a little)
- Couch shopping (AND PURCHASING) with Boo
- Cleaning up after Meat-Fest (an all day Saturday event at our hizzie)
- The Wire
- Catching up on work and taking the time to think
- Corn salad (made by Boo and it was DELICIOUS)

For the first time...
In closer to 3 weeks, I finally got out what I have been holding back. It’s amazing how writing can be therapy.
It’ll be a few more weeks until I can finally share everything. Everything is a little raw. A little tender to touch. So right now, I need to focus on all the moving parts in my life and keep looking at life as full of opportunities and less of “what ifs”.
