I have been on a roll, ya’ll. 

Boo and I were on the hunt for some pots and pans and Macy’s was kind enough to send us a magazine telling us some serious pots and pans were on sale.  THEN they sent me a 20% off gift certificate on anything on my registry.  So the plan was to return a platter I received that I thought was only going to be $50.  I had $50 gift card and $50 check as a wedding gift.  That was enough where we wouldn’t have to shell much if anything out for said pots and pans.  Well, it turns out said platter was $168.  OMGeeeee CHA CHING.  Pots and pans covered.  Throw in a 16oz pot for fun and I walked away from Macy’s spending $0 out of pocket and still having $$ left over to spend. 

THEN. TODAY.

I bought a flight to DC for $5.  YES.  You read that right. $5.
